a long time, so I put these here for me, and all of you who

The bold, black notes and numbers in the diagrams below show which Major scale notes and scale degrees (do, re, mi...) make up each melody.

A Major scale | A | B | C# | D | E | F# | G# |
This song is a blast to play, but it takes awhile to get down! If you're struggling with this, first make sure that you know the melody by heart (you can hum it in your head at will), and then once you have it down, start with a really slow speed and work your way up. Most folks start trying to play new fiddle tunes at way too fast of a tempo!
Chord Name | Roman Num. | Chord Notes |
A Major | I | A, C#, E |
D Major | IV | D, F#, A |
E Major | V | E, G#, B |
F# minor | vi | F#, A, C# |
